Try not to be so negative, it's only game afterall
It wasn't a terrible take it was a factual statement.

Is there a requirement to comment on every game? Congrats to the wins they got after the Norway game.

First world championships final for Germany. US dominated most of the OT, but sudden death did it's thing.

It's nice to see that these tournaments are becoming more competitive. Slaughter numbers have become rare, and more countries are able to fight for the medals.

It's a slow process, but the fact that more of these countries are showing they can compete with the teams the big 5, minus russia currently, send to these tournaments is a step in the right direction

Its probly still another generation or two away, but these tournaments could have 8-10 competitive teams soon, which only helps grow the game

I'd say it's a symtom of the tournament losing status. Germany and Latvia haven't gotten significantly better over time. The big countries are getting less and less stars over to play, due to high insurance costs and players prioritising golf/family. Include no Russia and it makes the last few Worlds the worst I've seen.

Oh well, now I can cheer for Coronato and Toffoli, Looch and Weegs. Would've been a pickle if both teams were in the final

It was never a high profile tournament. They get the same amount of stars they usually get, very few. Guys like Toffoli and Weegar have always been the types who headline. Stars, especially older stars, have typically skipped the tourney.
