Wow, just saw the end of the third, but you have to give Latvia a ton of credit for pushing Canada in this one. They really came together as a team after getting blown out at the start of the tournament.
What a game winner for Fantilli.

Yeah, unsurprising and well deserved. Latvia put up a good fight, but looked nervous and at times tired in third. Canada was just obviously better.
Latvia gave it what they could.

I commented on the Norway loss when it happened.
I have never said Canada shouldn't be able to go for the Gold, never said it had any impact on the Gold medal.
So no it isn't close to the same thing in any way.
