Honestly the Puljujarvi stuff is a nothing burger. I doubt Oiler fans will care if he wins a cup because he's not really a factor. The fear was when he changed teams that the new team would unlock a better player within. That hasn't happened. He's simply not a good player.
So when this current contract is over, I bet he goes back to Europe.

It's a something burger for some Flames fans though!
One day we'll create a collage of all of the pics of former Oilers raising the cup on other teams. In the middle of the collage will be sad Connor and Leon faces.

And a sad Sarah McLachlan song playing in the background.

Looks like Justin Schultz, Pat Maroon and Nathan Walker are the 3 to have won cups after leaving Edmonton in McDavid's tenure.
Nathan Walker is an interesting one, as he was waived by the Caps and claimed by the Oilers on December 1, 2017. Oilers then waived him a little less than 3 weeks later, and Washington claimed him back. It does not appear that his name is on the cup though, as he did not meet the NHL Eligibility.

Nah, you include all ex Oilers - like Cogliano last year.
Holland really just rambles on about nothing. Guy seems to be making up his answers on the fly instead of being prepared to answer the obvious questions. He seems…clueless? They asked him if he’s looking to extend and his answer was a rambling mess of nothing. I’m hoping he gets a long ass extension based on how he’s answered questions in this presser.

You know it is way too early to say any of this.
Devan Dubnyk went through 3 different organizations until he finally was able to wash off the demoralizing denigrating self worth Oiler management, fans, and media heap on high draft picks that do not meet their insane speculations.
Puljujarvi is an NHL player, with incredible tools, that someone like Rod Brindamour can unlock. Either way, he will make sure Jesse plays the right way and strip off the lazy Oiler habits of cheating the game.

Ken Holland sounds like Old Gil from the Simpsons.
