Sure, and can you explain how that one is missed when referee #5 is looking DIRECTLY at the play??

Tough to do that when the Oilers keep getting gifted early PPs and you're on the PK right out of the gate. But you're right, Vegas has been absolute garbage following a win. Thankfully they've got two cracks at it here, and I still like their chances in a game 7 on home ice.
Let's just hope it doesn't get that far and that Vegas can bring their A game on Sunday. Seeing the Oilers lose at home in front of their knuckle-dragging fans while the SN panel drowns in tears would be glorious.

I guess because the Oilers have no business making it this far? Kinda makes sense.

All of the pressure is obviously on the Oilers, not just because they're currently down in the series, but also because the Wonder Twins are the media's darlings and the league desperately wants/needs them to advance. Every media dips*** in the hockey world were already anointing them Cup favorites and Conn Smythe winners back in October, even though they're nowhere near as deep as any of the other playoff teams.
All of their success has been on the backs of two players who play 30+ minutes a night and an abnormally good PP. Take away just one of McLotteryball or Pissy and they're likely a bottom feeder in the mix for the #1 pick again. Hell, even if they had just a slightly above-average or middle of the pack PP, I'm betting they don't make the playoffs.

The only pressure on Vegas now is from the rest of the hockey world that doesn’t drink the oiler kool aid.
Please take care of these entitled buffoons tomorrow

I think it was Ekholm who downplayed the goal Vegas scored on a 5-3 by saying, that if the Oilers had a 5-3, they would have scored at least once. Of course the Oilers have a really good powerplay, but saying stuff like that after a loss just wreaks of arrogance.

It is the same kind of coverage for every series where it's a Canadian team vs, an American team on a Canadian network. Why wouldn't they show more interviews with the Canadian team? It was like this in the Toronto series, the current Edmonton series, and also like this by the way, in the first round series last year between the Flames and Stars.

the Referee stuff I can get- every fan base sees things differently , but the announcers oh my. Singh was a childhood Oilers fan, Debrusk a former player. this isn't (meant to be ) an Oilers regional broadcast, but come on they call players by their nicknames, they have pet names for players slapshots and I can easily tell if a TV is on on a different floor of my house what end of the ice the puck is in solely by the enthusiasm of the PBP call

I know how hard it is to be any good at PBP and why i think criticism of them is way over the top 99% of the time.
That being said, Singh is flat out and demonstrably terrible at the job.
Mispronunciations/complete misses, his differing inflection depending who has the puck in good spots, total unawareness at times of what is being called....its all just so cringey.

Didn't Vegas get a PP for a failed coaches challenge too? Is that the Ref's fault?
Also, they called 1 high stick that turned into 2 PP's because the player was bleeding?
So the Ref's called 5 pps for Vegas to 3 for the Oilers (1 Major)

Singh sucks it's not just his oiler love he flat out sucks. His singing when someone scores or when everyone was on him about Kadri and he kept doing that stupid kahh dreee what a loser.
You don't like seeing people lose their jobs but Singh and Princepe should be fired.

What? No it's not...we saw ZERO interviews from the other side in the Edmonton game. I can assure you there were Panther interviews, Maurice, and some from Dallas last year. Tkachuk was interviewed by SN they love him now that he isn't on the Flames after flat out slandering him after the Kassian stuff.

SN has always loved Chucky. He's more often than not involved in something that is newsworthy and he drives views for SN. Yes, even when he was a Flame.
