On a comical note, I think it is comical. I drive to Canmore often. On the south side of Highway 1 just after the Highway 40 exit and before the old gas station on the Reserve that is graffitied there is a highway billboard. East facing is GlassMasters "SHOW US YOUR CRACK". West facing is a Danielle Smith Miranda Rosin ad.

Did they just add the cost of the 2 reports together, instead of averaging them? Or using it as a a range? Are they this dumb?
Or are they just ignoring the experts that wrote the reports and are telling them they are wrong?

Most likely, since they've proudly announced that they're done listening to experts

She definitely is. She's conceited, most definitely a megalomaniac and I think bang on with narcissistic personality disorder. She has an unreasonably high (and deluded) sense of self-importance. You can see it in all of her ridiculous musings on radio and TV shows, he responses to government policy, and her intention to drive far-politics down Albertans throats even though most Albertans are moderates.
She also suffers delusions of grandeur, in which she has this vision for how Alberta is supposed to be even though she basically ignores and blocks anyone who doesn't fall in line with her politics or challenges her on her sour creamy opinions.
She is not someone anyone should want near a position of power.
And all this from a person who's can't even clean her restaurant to avoid health violations.

Navius report has a wider scope, but includes the AESO number. Correct number is Navius, not an average.

New poll from Leger, with NDP +2 provincewide. Also shows the UCP ahead in the Calgary CMA. As someone above pointed out that includes places like Airdrie that are UCP strongholds, so take that for whatever it’s worth. “Calgary CMA” sample is n=275.

I don’t really know how to interpret this data—there’s something here for both sides. NDP supporters will like the topline, and the fact that Danielle Smith scores very poorly on personal rating fundamentals. UCP supporters will like the fact that the conservatives remain ahead in the Calgary CMA, which is going to be the biggest battleground in this election. Either side can make an argument for why the 17% undecided voters are going to break their way on May 29th.
Personally I look at these numbers and they don’t look quite good enough for the NDP. The topline is consistent with prior polls showing a dead heat provincially. It would be nice to get a better sense of how the race looks in Calgary proper.

I think at this point we need to know which way the 17% undecided lean, and where they are. Nothing specific to them in that poll.

I'm sure today you can expect Smith to announce a full firefighting education program and a budget increase, "something the NDP failed to do in their time in government".

If we didn't waste money on the stupid useless War Room or the $1.4B loser pipeline bet, that $15M funding could have remained in place, hell - eve added to, supporting our brave firefighters and training new ones. With climate change taking place as we speak, these dry fires will only get more common, and we need to be ready for that incoming scenario. But nope, WAR ROOM, FUNDING PRIVATE SCHOOLS, etc.

Protecting the profits of billion dollar companies (who continue to make record profits) > funding SOCIALISM
Do you want to be a SOCIALIST??
It's laughable/sad that the War Room is still a thing.

United Conservative Leader Danielle Smith says she won’t be campaigning on some of her party’s more contentious ideas – sovereignty legislation, a provincial police force and an Alberta pension plan – ahead of the May 29 election.

That is so ####ing disingenuous. You just know they're going to be immediately pursuing those policies if they get in. I hope they get taken to task on this over the next four weeks.

What do you do? You have -$2000 in your bank account and you have to pay your utilities and mortgage. Do you sell off everything you own to continue to pay those bills or do you borrow from your HELOC to buy you some time?
And let me be specific, you DO NOT have any savings. Your financial planning for the last 44 years has been to not build up those savings.

I'm going to quote myself here because I'd really love to hear from Slava on this.

Emergency room wait times in Calgary are surging again with several hospitals posting estimated waits hovering around 15 hours overnight on Wednesday.
According to publicly available AHS data, tracked by CBC News and updated hourly, Alberta Children's Hospital peaked at 14.5 hours and South Health Campus topped out at 14.82 hours.
Waits were long at Calgary's other hospitals, too.
"It's absolutely not OK," said Cameron Westhead, second vice-president with the United Nurses of Alberta. "We are seeing longer wait times overall and we don't see relief in sight."

What a disaster decades of PC incompetence has gotten us. It isn't even respiratory virus season, and the system is ####ed. Please don't vote for these clowns. If you can't manage AHS, what hope do you have for a province? Time to fire the failing failers for their failures.
