Yeah, we wouldn't have seen this Tkachuk in Calgary this year if he had stayed. The change of situation was huge for him. Going to Florida with Bennett there was probably perfect for him.

He was still young. He just needed time to grow into the comfort level required to play his style of play in the playoffs. Power forwards are a different breed... unless you're blessed with the size of Eric Lindros, it just takes longer to develop than other forward styles.
It took Iggy 5-6 years before he was a beast too.

we went from a division winning team to a non play off team, our only stars f'd us royally imo and then we get what was supposed to be a star, and he sh*ts bed. I would rather have chucky tbh, im going to be talking about this trade until huby hit 100p for us.

It's not just chucky either. Bennett is playing a huge role for this panthers team especially in playoffs.
Our 26 year old 4th overall center and our 25 year old 6th over all winger are tearing it up on another team. Meanwhile we've gotten older, missed the playoffs and refused to try and reset our core.
This organization really stink to be a fan of sometimes, they don't seem to do much right.

Bennett is getting major minutes in Florida. First unit PP, always out there with the extra man. He's still taking dumb penalties, but hes producing enough to offset them.

what I see is chuck getting big minutes and it's paying off, i think Sutter is stuck in the past, balanced ice complete teamplay is not what's winning anymore it's star players with alot of time to make the big impact and then cycle the rest of the players.
