Babylon is a lot of fun to watch, holy crap. Literally from start to finish I had a blast watching it. Love pretty much everything about the film. The scenery, dialogue, performances, and especially the sound. Not often a film keeps me interested for 3+ hours, but this definitely did.
This is a late reply, but I completely agree. I saw the RT audience/critic score and was skeptical, but I loved it!
Jean Smart absolutely owned her scene

Death Becomes Her is wonderfully camp and kitschy. You can tell all 3 actors are having a great time with the material and they are chewing up every scene. Its impossible to watch this movie and not have a great time.
Toni Collette not getting an Oscar nom for Herriditary is criminal
This one and Goth are the two biggest snubs I can remember in some time. My wife hates horror movies but she couldn't stay away when I was watching Pearl because she was mesmerized by this bat#### crazy girl and couldn't stop watching.

The extended monologue she does near the end of the film is some of the best acting I’ve seen from anyone lately. Absolutely mesmerizing performance.

Caught the two movies Apple TV+ has been pushing at me a lot lately:
Ghosted: A romantic spy action comedy whose biggest appeal is the attractive leads in de Armas and Evans. This tries really hard to be like True Lies and mostly falls flat. Had a few good moments but needed to lean more into parody instead of being serious. Worst parts were Adrien Brody's villain and some really poor dialog. The action was fine with a couple memorable moments but I didn't like how much they relied on popular songs to get us engaged for these scenes.5/10
Tetris: Really enjoyed this story of acquiring the Tetris rights for Game Boy from the USSR. Some fun characters and good pacing with an engaging story. Taron Egerton works well in the lead as both protagonist and narrator. Liked the business drama set within the absurdity of Soviet bureaucracy and wish they went deeper into the background. Some parts felt over done with Hollywood touches when the story was good enough to stand on its own. My favourite thing was the soundtrack that enhanced the film by mixing a tense thriller vibe with classic 8 bit sounds. 8/10

Even the very end where she holds that smiling face through the end credits for what seems like an eternity (apparently 3 minutes) was brilliant. I kept waiting for the black credits to roll but the camera stays on her while she holds that pose.

Watched Ghosted on AppleTV this weekend. Very a mindless but generally entertaining popcorn film.
Spoiler!
The "fan service" moments in the latter part of the movie are so unexpected and enjoyable, that they make the movie worth watching.
I found it way over-acted. The dialog bugged me. Fell asleep watching it, in the end it was fine, but forgettable. The cameos were kind of weird to me.

I don't watch a lot of horror/thriller movies, but the plot on Infinity Pool looks nuts. I sat through all 4 seasons of Black Mirror on Netflix and some of them made me pretty uncomfortable. How do some of the darker episodes compare to a movie like Infinity Pool? If you can explain without spoilers, that is.

I don't think you'd be able to tolerate it based on your comments.
Cronenberg style body horror, clone murdering with ####ed up moral connotations, sexual torture, all while there's an increasing amount of insanity.

Watched Top Hat, a 1935 musical, which no one told them was during a depression because the movie is so opulent. I really enjoyed it, and was surprisingly very funny. Basically a man and women fall in love, but due to a misunderstanding the woman thinks the man is married and hilarity ensues. Stars Ginger Rodgers and Fred Astaire and if you love the Green Mile (and who doesn't) you will instantly recognize the part where Astaire sings dancing cheek to cheek.
