When I have my kids with , especially my 5 year old (which I did that day) who's a crazy person, the closer the store I am the better
|
I guess so. I get where you're coming from, but with a 2 and 4 year old, I think they've been in more near misses walking through that area than in any other area by any grocery stores. But maybe that's just the stores I go to with click and collect and online pick up stalls. Again, I personally avoid that area because it's a magnet for stupid. Maybe you're right for your situation, but I personally just don't fully understand how the situation is more convenient, but the situations might not be the same.

Nah. That can trigger the crazy in actual incels. No to pwned though.
Modern insults, there's ####ing failure to launch and reject. I don't think ass hat, #### stain/stick/bag have gone out of favor.

Is calling someone bald as an insult a real thing? I thought bald people used it on themselves as some sort of expression of self-deprecation.
I’ve never imagined a gang of roving teenagers shouting out, “hey baldy! you’re bald!”

No, the difficulty for the grocery unloading employees is due to the person that typically answers the phone.

Sorry, I've just always pictured you a very certain way based on your posts and with the admission that you struggled to walk a little bit extra, I thought I would try make a helpful. Too much? Your health is important.

The r-word got unfairly lumped in with the other words, I think. It's a good word. It bites in a way a lot of other words used for a similar purpose don't. I actually think words that communities don't want to "take back" or repurpose should be available for insults. I've been tempted to use the r-word more than a few times here. There are words that I feel I'm "allowed" to use, but I don't because I feel guilty that nobody else can use them.
It's really a shame that bigots and hateful idiots ruined things for everyone.

I'm trying to bring back the slang "cas'" from the 90's at work. It grinds me gears that my favourite 90s slang is widely gone and dead. Me and my fat opinions.

I would say that people poking fun at you for balding is basically constant once it starts.

Who is melting down? I think you're still a little bit shell-shocked from the verbal abuse you took in the parking lot. It's OK man, this is a safe space. Nobody is going to judge you if you're out of breath after ten car lengths. We just want to help. You are loved.

It's less like that and more of a, 'pathetic middle-aged bald guy with a small dick' sort of insult. Especially hurtful when your wife slings it at you.

lol my wife is the sweetest person and I only wrote that to get her goat because she sometimes reads CP if that makes you feel any better. I don't think she's insulted me in my life.

I’m trying to gauge your level of confidence in not inconveniencing people. You seem to hedge a bit on whether you don’t care if you get in the way or it’s empty enough that you know you won’t get in the way. So if you are unwilling to have your window smashed if all of the spots got filled up then you aren’t confident enough to park there.
