That's a lot of words to say "I don't want to see nazis and nazi rhetoric on my timeline, or the drooling idiot thoughts of unwashed morons pushed to the top of the For You and every popular post."

See above lol, "broadest range", muted. Okay then.

You can't be serious, just what class do you think Musk sits in and mingles with?

Wishing for silence of dissenting opinions.... as stated above, you are wishing for the same thing by cheering him on muting accounts. "broadest range" of speech my ass. That last sentence though . That's some kind of special. Wow.

Btw, did you know Musk is a weeb?

Yes, having privacy and censorship/free-speech defined and controlled by the whims of a narcissistic, out of touch, man-baby/God-king is definitely a major improvement.

You're a gullible fool, Matata. Sadly I'm sure I'm not the first to tell you this.

Got sin binned for being a transphobe so now he just sticks to generic Elon-simp content. Sad.

Musk put 44 billion on a cross to die for his ridiculous ego and completely moronic lack of knowledge of commercial law, there is no world where this numb nut manages to maintain any value in twitter, it was at best worth 5 billion when he was forced to buy it having thought he could spout off about making an offer without consequence, it is now worth considerably less than 5 billion.

The thing that I find hilarious about nonsense like this, is that the fringe that shares this large conspiratorial language paints the large majority of the population as "far left". I mean, first of all, Twitter was never run by military intelligence, but that's beside the silly point.

Overwhelmingly Canadians support Ukraine defending itself. Elon's own poll wanted him to walk away from Twitter for crying out loud. Is everyone that doesn't believe the earth is flat the "far left" now?

You've painted yourself into a ideological corner with your bat $### rantings

As somebody who used twitter in a non-political way to follow interesting people in hobbies I like, I've gone from daily user to not using it at all. My feed became full of US politics and extreme viewpoints from people who are idiots (on both sides, but mostly US right-wing). I never subscribed to any of these tweets, they were just thrust on my feed.

I am neither pro nor con Elon, but from the outside it's been an unmitigated disaster, and I can think of no 'wins' that have come up.

In fact, his work at twitter has severely harmed Elon's reputation as a genius amongst people that didn't really know or care about him.
I'm the same (but still using it daily), and even aside from the political rhetoric, which I'm for the most part able to avoid, I'm just looking at it purely for its usability. It's so much slower and clunkier feeling than it used to be. Not to mention it's weird how media/athletes don't have checkmarks anymore, harder for me to notice them in my TL. And it always defaults to "For You" instead of "Following". It's annoying.

It just doesn't feel as smooth as it used to, it was definitely better before he took over. That and it's beyond lame how he's monetizing it. Yay, capitalism...

Messaging wise how was that post different from the one where you say Musk saved twitter.

Is your initial post not to be taken seriously?

Elon Musk is the 2nd richest person on the planet.

How can you write "set upon us by an ammoral oligarchy class" and think you are writing anything with intelligence.

My god.

Bluesky migration actually seems to be starting.

Twitter will likely be the new Gab pretty soon, no social media site lasts forever.

Unless you got an invite code shut it. Gonna feel like the people who got left behind post rapture pretty soon I hope. Short term pain for long term gain. Bluesky seems to do the same mastodon server thing though doesn’t it? It’s not simply a Twitter clone?
