I get the frustration of a potential high stick. But that in no way was clear either way. Likely, maybe, but even still. Not enough to over turn the call on the ice. Either way I love it and I find it hilarious that Oiler fans are crying about it. If they lose this series it will be epic !

Has anyone photoshopped McBaby's head onto a ref's body yet?

exactly, they think they are so good the league should just advance them to 2nd round even if they don't perform. They aren't playing very well and the results show it.
LA in 5!!

So True! Not only that, look at the Goals Against... most of LA goals are when #97, #29, #91, #25 or #14 are on the ice, especially even strength.
LA has scored 9 goals in 3 games. 5 at even strength and 4 on powerplay.
#97 on the ice for 6 of 9 goals against. 4 out of the 5 even strength goals against.
#29 and #91 on the ice for 3 out the 5 even strength goals against.
#25 on the ice for 6 of 9 goals against. 2 out of the 5 even strength goals against and 4 out of 4 shorthanded goals against.
#14 on the ice for 5 of 9 goals against. 3 out of the 5 even strength goals against
Might be time to sit these guys at even strength and penalty kill

The biggest problem the Oilers have is that the Kings are just a better team.

Using stills from the twitter video you posted, you can see the angle of that axis is going from fairly horizontal to much more vertical as the puck goes up.
The last photo here is still about 1 foot before the puck reaches it's top height and it's already very vertical.
These pics are just on the way up and well before any contact would have occurred and the angle of the rotational axis has changed dramatically on it's own.
By the time the puck gets to the top, it's going to be more or less vertical but it's still rotating around the same axis.
The axis itself is shifting and that has nothing to do with any contact.
You are mistaking this with a change in rotation axis which would have the puck rolling like a tire over itself and around the Y-axis.
The rotation of the puck around it's axis does not change at any point. Good Goal, E=NG.

Are the refs supposed to be experts on physics now too? Lol. Next thing you know they'll be calculating angular momentum in the review box.
Was checking Hfboards and oh man, the salt is real haha. Maybe Edmonton should just play better and not depend on insanely marginal calls to go their way in order to win.

The Oilers need Neil DeGrasse Tyson to explain to them that the stick doesn't touch the puck.

Just at chiropractor who is a friend of mine. His friend actually works for the Kings so my friend texted his buddy to get him to ask Vilardi if he touched it or not Vilardi said we may have gotten away with one there.
Also side note. It sounds like Fiala getting close and will be back game 6 or 7 or 1st or 2nd game next series

Absolutely disgusting behaviour. If you're that upset about your local sports team losing a couple of games that you're gonna dox a high school kid over it, then you clearly need professional help and should probably reassess your life.
Seems like Oiler fans thought they were gonna go 16-0 and just cruise right to a Cup win without any adversity. Were they not around the last couple of times the Oilers made the playoffs? They really have short memories.

Woodcraft must be high. Cale makar is not even in the same series let alone 2 feet away from the play

If there was ever any doubt, now we know who runs the Oilers.
