Just like Wayne was back in the day and the refs didn’t seem to care… there are other players that do the same thing and it’s never been a good look.

And I can’t believe the refs let it go. It’s a very simple rule… for McDavid or anyone else to think they’re above it is ridiculous. I’d have turned around and barked out a call on him so loud in his face that he would have thought he was going to be punched by a ref right then and there. Make sure that for the rest of his career he stands ten feet back of that line instead of ever thinking about crossing it.
Lol as if Nurse completely losing his guy and facing the net for the game winning goal wasn't brought up. What an epic collapse from the 9.25m dollar man. Thanks Nurse!

Yeah, there was a lot of “explaining” about how he was blocking a cross ice pass with his genius level play in OT in game one.
But
Tonight’s contribution was extraordinary

He was doing his squat thing again. I like that this is becoming a thing.

Wow, just saw overweight ventriloquist dummy Oilers coach speak. Embarrassing. What a petty little man. I figure he probably got rejected by every girl he ever looked at growing up.
Woodcroft is pathetic. He basically said that because McDavid made the call on the high stick, the refs should have deferred to McDavid because he is the best player in the world and he wouldn't put his hand up in the air if it wasn't true.
Basically taking a dump on the people who are trained to make the calls and have accrued years of experience to be in their position.
How would we ensure integrity if players who play for one side were actually deferred to to make calls.
Also people see what they want to see. More so emotionally invested players. Happens all the time.
Dumbass coach is dumb.
