You'd think they could 3d print one pretty easily at this point.
3d printed guns are pretty rubbish frankly, you still need to access ammunition and for most a barrel and firing pin, there is no way I would risk my life getting into a gun fight when I am relying on a lego gun with a propensity to jam/break and the other guy has a proper gun

If I'm in a gun fight and my options are 3d printed gone or no gun, I'm taking the 3d printed gun every time.

Yes but if you are a criminal you have the choice as to whether you are in a gun fight or not, you are never going to choose a lousy jam prone gun that is just as difficult to obtain (as you have to source half of it from gun shops anyway) gets you just as much time in jail and is likely to get you killed.
Given the choice of going into a gun fight with a 3d gun or not going into a gun fight at all no one is choosing the lego gun that doesnt work that well, 3d guns are basically a hobby for 2nd A' wack jobs
I think most are responsible. Unfortunately, it only takes a few nut jobs to do enormous harm.
Suicides is how guns kill people. No nut jobs required. They are just really good at allowing successful suicide attempts compared to other methods. School shootings are mostly a tragic distraction

On Tuesday, Weekend Update co-anchor and top shelf April Fool’s Day prankster Michael Che took to Instagram with an idea on how to curb the nation’s gun violence epidemic, which among developed nations is singular to ours. He was inspired by a recent rightwing boycott of Bud Light, which teamed with trans TikTok influencer Dylan Mulvaney.
“ya kno… a lot of people are not drinking bud light, cause the company used a trans person in their ad,” Che wrote. “and these mostly right wing bud light customers have tossed all their bud lights in the trash in a blind rage.. and it got me ta’thinkin.. just hear me out..”
In the next slide Che revealed his idea: “what if we got trans people.. hear me out.. to do ads for guns..?”
At least 20 teens shot at a Alabama sweet 16 birthday party, 4 confirmed dead but there's a picture circulating that shows at least 6 bodies on the ground.

Another one killing 2 and 6 injured at a park in Louisville, Kentucky over the weekend as well, amazing that these red states would fight like hell to protect a 7 week fetus but not teenagers.
Imagine having to go to school everyday with the fear that this could potentially be the day that you might not make it home. I’ll never understand how that country can just keep moving forward without doing something…anything..to help prevent these kinds of tragedies from happening. It’s f***ing madness.
It's a town of 3,000 and this is the second mass shooting there in a 7 year span.

Alabama gun laws
After a new law took effect in January, anyone 18 or over may carry a handgun in the state without a permit, background check or safety training in Alabama. Gov. Kay Ivey signed the legislation into the law that repealed the concealed carry permit requirement in March 2022.
Alabama has no state law that restricts or defines "assault weapons" or "large capacity magazines" and doesn't regulate machine guns as a class of firearm, according to the National Rifle Association Institute for Legislative Action.
Talk about moving in the exact wrong decision. I feel terrible for the victims, but I have to wonder how many of the residents affected by this tragedy support the lax gun laws there, assuming that the state legislators are representing to democratic will of the people.
