Huberdeau's contract just doesn't concern me. Yeah, it may be painful in the later years but that is an elite offensive player in a league that puts an absolute premium on elite offensive players.

This environment was a damn tire fire for a lot of the players on this team. Huberdeau's skills began to shine down the stretch here - he stood out alongside Toffoli as our best forward when it became crunch time.

Huby will bounce back - either here under different circumstances, or elsewhere. Dude is elite offensively.

If they run it back and don't rebuild? I'm right there with you. The organization needs to change direction in a massive way. Not just a coach, not just a manager, not just some players - the entire organization needs to start operating like a modern professional sports team.

Once Benny got dealt there, Florida became my 2nd favourite team (my dad's too) - so yeah, I watched a decent amount of Florida from the moment Sam went there. Huby's legit.

Because Flames can't outscore the other team, it should have been so hard for Markstrom.
I think Markstrom handles his game poorly when pressure is high. I think he will be Okay next season but I hope Wolf takes starting job late next season or 2025 season.

Always awful to miss the playoffs, there's usually the comfort of thinking half the teams in the NHL don't make the playoffs. But when we don't make the playoffs and the powerplay merchants from dumpsterivlle are going into the playoffs on a hot streak, well, it's just an extra kick in the nuts.
