Well, Makar will likely miss the game against the Jets but Kaprizov is back for the Wild in time for their Jets game. Great news.

Yeah only way I see Coronato getting a game is if we are all the way locked in (or out) by the time the season finale comes.
Or if Murray Edwards has something to say about it.. I think Darryl would probably listen to him alone.

Jets won.
Flames play Canucks, Predators, Sharks.
Jets play Sharks, Wild, Avalanche.
Jets are two points up and hold the tie breaker.

Even just a point out of that Blackhawks game would made our chances a lot more realistic.
Oh well, win tonight and hope Jets have a couple bad losses!

Don’t think that result actually changed anything. Still need to win out and Jets need to lose 2. So keep going.

Well 10 points left up for grabs between flames and jets. Need 7 to go our way. Starting Monday they face elimination pretty much every day.

Hard to be optimistic, but I am still holding out some hope. I honestly thought they would be out of it a long time ago, and they proved me wrong. I hope I am wrong a little longer.

Of course they were gonna be close. Can’t get that 16th pick without missing by a point or two.

Same scenario as before. Take care of business at home. Jets lose 2 of 3. Win Stanley Cup.
It’s happening.

Wouldn't that just be a supernova of salt orbited by salt mines, oiler jerseys and frozen tears.

Jets lost 3 in a row twice so far this year...
Bruins, Caps, Wild in December and Preds, Sabres, Flyers in January...
Jets also lost to the Isles, Avs, Isles, Kings, Oilers in Feb/Mar for 5 straight...

Flames will need the Avs to beat the Jets on Thursday. Jets will get up by 5 but then Calgary’s Cale Makar will come down from the owners box in the second intermission and score 6 in the third period. He’ll be the first player to get a bronze statue outside a team’s stadium he didn’t play for.

BEFORE he plays for a team you mean.
Because clearly he would subsequently demand a trade to the Flames...

I mean there's still hope for sure. I was very surprised when I opened the PGT this morning and posters were whiny and complaining the season was over after losing in overtime. I had it figured before the game started that an overtime loss was basically the same as a win regardless as the Jets have the tiebreaker. Nothing changed with the overtime loss the Jets still have to lose the same amount of games regardless if the flames won that game or not. Still believe that we'll have an exciting last week of the season.

Jets can lose all three games in OT and Flames miss the playoffs no matter what. That point was huge, gave tons of breathing room to the Jets to clinch that they otherwise would not have had if the Flames won.

Jets haven't been involved in many OT games of late, so the OTL vs regulation on the second loss needed doesn't mean much. It could, but its unlikely.
If Colorado/Minnesota take care of business for us I suspect they can get it done in regulation.
Was 2 losses needed before yesterday. Still 2 losses today.
If the sharks can come out of nowhere and do us a solid once more then that will make the rest of the week Very interesting.
