My position on the removal of Duehr to keep Lucic and Lewis in the lineup depends on the goal. If we’re trying to lose, great move. If we’re trying to win, gross.

Huh.

Not exactly the change(s) in the lineup I thought we'd see or want to see.

Really does feel like something is broken on the managerial/coaching end.

Hey Dillon,

Heck of a season! Thanks for really working on your game and trying to get better. But hey, we acquired Nick Ricthie - so uh...here, play on the 4th line.

This is the same !@#$ that Gulutzan did to Bennett after they acquired Stewart on waivers.

They've been fortunate enough to be able to draft young talent (Robertson, Heiskanen, Hintz, Oettengier). I hope the Flames can do the same during the duration of Huby, Kadri and Weegar's contracts

Change isn't the problem. It's Darryl's complete inability to evaluate skillsets and fits within a lineup. His roster management is mindboggling.

Dube demoted to 4th line center.
Huberdeau remains with Kadri
Lucic and Lewis stay in the lineup.
Duehr out of the lineup.
Ruzicka still flailing in the wind.
Ritchie being inserted into the lineup well above his capabilities.

None of those decisions makes sense or are warranted based on performance.

This is true. The cognitive dissonance is strong

Gross roster decisions that deserve ridicule, and yet losing is good because we aren't winning the 7-10 straight required to get back in the thing

If Dube was ever moved back to center by Sutter, I expected him to be tried between Huby and Pelts. Guess not

I wish we would stop scratching Ruzicka this much. The guy was almost PPG until he was demoted for some reason and then completely out of the line up other than for like 1 game to this point.

Otherwise, great moves for the tank.

None of the decisions are a big deal or something to get worked up about, either. It’s not like the team is playing well, so we complain about that, but then complain that things change.

Look at the bright side, with the way Sutter plays the 4th line this is like playing centre on the second line for any other team!

You just knew that it would be Walker coming out if Ritchie was getting in, was not expecting him to change the lines like this.

Its like he is allergic to playing a younger lineup and scratching his boys.

I don't know if we should cry or just laugh at this point.

The <redacted> are these lines
Switch Hubie and Toff, Bench Looch and put in Rosie
<Redacted> sakes Sutter, I am no even an NHL professional and I can make better lines
And Ritchie is NOT a second liner.
I guess Sutter is going full tank commander.

I'm a huge Sutter supporter, but these lines are baffling. Walker Dueur has played really well, as has Dube. Not sure why these lines make sense at all

Sutter finally changed the lines but somehow the team looks worse . Ritchie to top 6? Lucic instead of duehr? Kadri still with hubby? Lol

Dube might be the biggest improvement for any player this season. Now he’s on the 4th line? I get he will get pp and pk time so shouldn’t be 4th line mins but this makes no sense.

Even Mullen called out sutter to flip Lindholm and Kadri yet we still getting Kadri and Huberdeau. I love Sutter but he’s just as much to blame as anyone
