Especially after out playing the Bruins and still losing. Maybe he's giving them one more shot to show they can win and play that way back to back.
That being said, I still think it's more likely they do nothing and evaluate in teh summer. Be it Tre as the GM or not.

Umm... with the Bruins putting Taylor Hall on LTIR, they have enough cap space for Lucic if the Flames retained 50%.
Just saying.

The Flames can retain 50% of what is remaining after Edmonton retention.
Lucic's cap hit after Edmonton's retention is $5.25 mil.
Calgary can retain up to 50% of that for a cap hit of $2.625 mil.
Capfriendly shows the Bruins have $2.860 mil in cap space after putting Hall on LTIR

So there's speculation that Arizona is looking to get Voracek's dead contract now that it looks like he'll be LITRetired. Can we finally fold that joke of a franchise? Their version of hockey operations is to acquire as many dead cap space contracts as possible without actually having to pay.
