Some weirdos only look at what CBC tweets out, so if they don’t scroll past a tweet about their topic of concern every minute, they have a nervous breakdown.

The report does seem compromised. Yes, he is a former DM, but he also has direct links to the Trudeau Foundation. That said, CBC does report that so.... not sure what the big issue is here.

Yeah I don't really get it either. Every time I've checked the CBC site since this started, it's been on the front page. And it's not like it's just pro liberal ramblings and downplaying the story, half the article I read last night was asking political experts and sharing their thoughts about how that government report is downplaying it, then finished off with what the Conservatives party has been saying about it.

I fail to see the outrage as well. I'm guessing it's a case of people only reading headlines? Or they're simply mad that it's just being reported on and not sensationalized like some other "news" outlets report on things

What a stupid thread this has become. Honestly. Going back to the issue at hand, there is a very serious threat to our democracy that is being covered up by the government and people are taking partisan stances on the CBC. Who cares?!

Maybe the posters complaining about the CBC are also under foreign influence, paid to distract us from the real issue

Well played China!

Really? that's strange, I also went and looked to find the article to read it again. Its no where to be found on the main page.

I had read the article in question shortly after it was published and there was two short paragraphs that were essentially summed up as , These are the allegations which are denied from source, and this is a independent study finding no interference. end or article.

I was wondering if there had been a update to the story.

What link are you using. I just checked CBC Top Stories again and it's not even on the page anymore.

CBC hasn't done a great job reporting on this, but who cares when two of the country's best media outlets - Global and the Globe - have been doing such excellent reporting.

There are news websites (and apps) that hide stories after you’ve read them. Makes it very hard to go back and find the story again. Not sure if the CBC website does this or not

Not sure which link KFF was using but it is the third story on their politics page and the headlines of the two stories currently above it aren’t exactly singing praises for the LPC either.

I don't actually spend much time on CBC, but I just checked and there isn't even a blip on it on the main page.

https://www.cbc.ca/news

Major, major story, and nothing.

This isn't on there either, and probably should be, no?

Are you going to give the CBC more than 30 minutes to write the story, or do they have to have a Real Time News Feed now?

Keeps getting better and better. Now we're back to 2013, and already tied together.

I will, if I as a taxpayer no longer have to fund them.

I’m not sure that each individual taxpayer will ever have services provided exactly how they would individually like but I wish you all the best in your quest to make that a reality

There's a pretty good case for taxpayers not having to fund the CBC. I don't really care but honestly, it's a niche news service at best.
