Kind of a bummer that they won't produce these in even limited quantities for sale.

Will be incredibly awkward if Kane still isn't recognized in it. That said, he's cleaned up his image, for a noble 12 months, so maybe that'll be enough for a reconciliation.

I just sent a message to the organizers and asked them about it.

I wonder why they dont wear them for game play as well. Is it an issue with licensing/jersey deals?

Always happy to see/hear local man Jarome. He’s just such a great guy.
I’m with EE on this.
Cost of jersey + donation to NHLPA fund + donation to local charities = cost of jersey.
Love ‘em or hate ‘em, the nhl should be finding ways to grow their business through the sale of as many jerseys as they can. Literally, the winner is everyone.
Limited edition? It’s on sale this year. New one next year.
I think that the nhl could take some lessons from European football clubs who bring up to 4 shirts every season plus warmup and training gear.

Absolute failing of any kind of business or civic acumen that these aren't available for sale as previously mentioned. All the props to the team that designed this beauty, yet another L for whoever is in the position to put these up for sale and either declined or failed to see the opportunity to do so

could give a portion of the proceeds to a charity that supports people of colour. I see no downside

I initially thought there might be some sort of licensing/exclusivity deal involving the NHL, Adidas and/or Fanatics. However, Vancouver has sold their speciality warmup jerseys, albeit at a staggering cost of $750 each: https://vancouver.citynews.ca/2023/0...jersey-prices/
As for actually wearing them in games, I understand that is tightly controlled by the league; you're not allowed to just wear whatever you want.

Totally agree, what a missed opportunity not selling these jerseys, even in limited supply.

Flames replied to people on Twitter saying it is the NHL that restricts the team from selling these. Weird flex if true.

... and NHL store sells Flames Fight Cancer jerseys. Like I said, it's weird if true that NHl won't let Flames sell alt jerseys.
