I wish they would also sell these. They make sweet limited edition jerseys and then give fans no way to buy them. Like the Chinese NY jerseys. I don't get it.

Agreed. I like jerseys like this one and the CNY one way more than the horse head alternates or the reverse retros.
I imagine they could do pretty cool ones for Truth and Reconciliation Day, for Ramadan, Holi, pride month etc. Just keep it all with the flaming C, but altered to suit the event like this and the CNY ones were and do limited editions, but not super limited.

Yeah how hard is it to sell them and send the proceeds to some charities?

Are they only doing this because of Iggy or is it something they do anyways and just went Iggy themed this year? I don't remember more than the usual military/cancer/st paddy's practice jerseys in previous years.

Check with Scorp (think he knows the details) ,but I'm pretty sure it is a legal minefield with the NHL/NHLPA and manufacturers

I think Flames are learning from some of the absolute stunners the Jets, Canucks and Oilers have created to celebrate special occasions. And maybe the production technology can pump out small batches cost effectively.
I've got all the regular Flames jersey I need, but these special ones would crack open my otherwise hermeticaly sealed wallet. When a cheapo like me wants to buy, it means they are probably on to something.

I would also instantly buy this. Especially if a portion of the proceeds went to charity.

As I posted in the Kane thread, & just to reinforce E=NG, this tour does NOT STOP in Edmonton. Which would’ve been able to coincide with Iginla’s first black sporting hero, Grant Fuhr.

They truly are a vile organization.

Gamble to support charities that support gamblers that support charities.
Isn't that a song by Blur?

you're wrong.
the tour is going to the city of EVERY team and will be in Edmonton March 25.
Can't tell you why it's not on the website.

I'd be happy to be proven wrong. How did you learn of it?
Will be incredibly awkward if Kane still isn't recognized in it. That said, he's cleaned up his image, for a noble 12 months, so maybe that'll be enough for a reconciliation.
