Uh not quite. Jets, Oilers and Kraken are reeling.

If the Flames can string some wins together I could see them overtake one of those teams. Beauty of the west this year. Lots of mediocre teams.

There are 17 weeks for the birth parent, 35 weeks for either parent, and 5 weeks exclusively for the non-birth parent. As a father taking my 5 weeks this summer for the birth of my 3rd child, I’m pumped about Canada’s paternity leave!

And his second was a huge breakdown which, yes, ended up in the back of the net. After 12 shots. Swayman was .833 at that point, for tall the in game save percentage fans. Swayman of course shut them down after that. ended up with 22 saves on 24 shots for .917.

In the last 10 games, Edmonton has more points than Calgary.
Wpg has 1 less, Seattle has 2 less.
The Flames are also reeling.

Sure, it's possible they get hot and the others don't, but it's equally as likely the others stop reeling and the Flames continue to.
Most likely that everyone stays mediocre and the point gap remains similar to what it is now.

The Flames haven't won more than 3 in a row all season. They're cooked. Don't expect anything different to suddenly happen.

Yeah, we get it. The season is over for you, cool. Some of us either still have hope and/or still want to enjoy watching hockey. If you don’t want to watch, don’t.

But lost. Didn't Sutter say he was going with the win-and-you're-in strategy now?

Also, Boston is Vladar's former team. And he has a shutout against them already.

2G - 1W, 1L, 2 goals against

Pretty easy call to put him in.

Yes. Life is boring bring negative. They may not make it, but they might. Writing them off today is a little premature. There’s still a chance.

All these refs seem like they have an axe to grind against Calgary. I don't know who 3/4 of them are, and yet...

It's the same as the Covid year. They were 6 points out and people were freaking out they were still trying to win instead of tank. It didn't work out but it was silly to expect the team to throw in the towel.

It doesn't look good and they need the teams they're battling with to not go on a heater themselves but 4 points is not impossible to overcome.

Right. The Bruins make the same number of errors as the Flames in your world.

That’s a full belly laugh

Hopefully they do tonight, though

4-2 Flames

Pardon me for being tired of continued mediocrity. I want to see this team define the identity and strategy that to employ to win a Stanley Cup before I die.

Would I have prefered a burn it to the ground rebuild instead of Jonathan Huberdeau, yes I would have. Especially this year with this draft class. The Flames are just so infuriatingly middling.. They have been so unbelievably frustrating this year and it just drives me insane seeing them continue down a path that only prolongs the mediocre results. Hanging onto a hope that they can sneak into the playoffs to do what? Go on a magical run? It's a fantasy, and chasing that fantasy only prolongs that as fantasy instead of reality..

Honestly, do some of you not have access to the standings or calendars?
Because if the Flames win 3 straight and Edmonton does nothing, we still aren't in their spot.
