Look at last night. They have a 5 on 3 at the end of the game and give up odd man rushes and puck pin balled and never made it on Bruins net.

If it's the Flames in that scenario instead of the Bruins, we know where that puck pinballs to!
This exactly!!!

I see posters say that the Flames make more egregious defensive breakdowns than other teams. Well I watched some Boston games lately and the breakdowns are there for them too but the goalies are making the saves. The goalies for the Bruins are also saving the medium danger shots which isn't happening here.

Good first okay second sucks 3rd. A two goal lead in the 3rd and evaporate with 5 minutes left. Then follow by a OTL 3 on 3.

Can we do better than that Sutter ?

lighten up.
It’s been an especially bad year. Had to stop watching the afore mentioned team post labourday.

I just want someone held accountable for my torture and PTSD!

Everything about both teams points towards a Flames loss, which means they'll win. 4 - 2 if Vladar plays. If Markstrom starts 5 - 4 Flames.

Calgary seems to be getting lots of teams on the second half of a back to back.

For us, the day Boston graced the Saddledome was the most important game of the season. But for them, it was Tuesday.

Jeez a pretty depressing thread (not you Cheese). Hoping for losses, wanting the season over.

Looking forward to a Flames win. 4-2, and it’s going to be glorious.

Not sure why Markstrom isn’t starting, he played quite well against the Avs.

Jesus. Are paternity leave policies that poor in Canada that we expect him back within 24 hours? Maybe let his wife and new baby be discharged from the hospital first, kay?

Wasn't Lindholm back in practice the next day after his wife gave birth?

With it being a home game I don't see why there would even be an issue with him backing up Vladar tonight.

Practices are like an hour long. Plus dressing time, and if he attends video, maybe 3. A game is a longer committment. Plus guys are just different. Lindy probably could have had the time as well.

It is but practice is still time away. If they did give him tonight off then fine but I don't see the problem with him deciding rejoin the team and backup Vladar.

There's no problem. I thought people were criticizing him if he took the day.
