It was a bit tongue-in-cheek, but I genuinely feel there aren’t many good reasons to willingly eat at a buffet once you’re no longer a starving student that needs to make up for a days-long calorie deficit.

No college students are paying $75 to fill their calorie deficit lol. They aren’t even paying half that. In fact, they aren’t eating at buffets at all.

I had a boss that took all of the office staff to 'Taste of China' every few weeks, he was a bigger guy and he would shame people into 'getting his money's worth.'

Now that was miserable.

Boss used to take us there as well. If it was warm out they used a 10 gallon tofu bucket to hold the front door open. Lid was off but still full of tofu blocks and brine. I assume they gabbed a chunk as needed from that bucket.
