Not sure why any team would want Lucic, not sure why Calgary even plays him.

Sutter loves Lucic and Lewis

They are out their the last minutes all the times

There is nothing more rewarding than watching Lucic defending or trying to score when we need one

I'm guessing Gavrikov to Boston. Seems like the perfect add for them.

Yeah there is a better chance that lucic gets re-signed than traded.

Anyone slagging Lewis is an idiot. The guy is great in his role.

He’s fine when he plays his role. Great is a stretch

But he’s regularly overused by the coach. Shouldn’t have been with Huberdeau, isn’t good as a center, bad at face offs but takes draws for some reason, out vs McDavid in the playoffs etc

As a fourth line RW and PK option he’s fine. Darryl just thinks he’s Philip Danault or something

Imo he is not an everyday nhl player at this point of his career. Don’t even get me started with Sutter putting him in top 6 for more than a game or 2. He did play well last night.

Who do folks think fills those minutes if he isn't here? Wouldn't it be Brock Mcginn, Tyler Pitlick or Teddy Blueger type players? Not sure that moves the needle for us.

I'm happy that we have him. And I'm sure his teammates are even happier.

His salary is high, but better to have an intimidating presence and be annoyed with his slowness vs not having him, playing an energy guy like Mcginn, and watching our players get pushed around.

And I said all that without mentioning James Neal nor fact that deadmonton pays part of his salary.

McGinn and Blueger are both significantly more effective than Lucic at both ends of the ice. And they're both 6'.

He's been alright but at 36 years old the team should probably move on from him in the offseason although they likely won't if Darryl is in charge.

I’m still annoyed the Flames didn’t snag Tolvanen and waive another forward. I think he would have looked awesome with Huberdeau

Is his file the last minute of a tie game skating with Lucic?

I don’t think anyone is slagging Lewis. But Sutter’s use of him is another thing.

Toews should call it a career. Has nothing else to play for. Has won his cups and probably was the best cap era dynasty thus far. Was a fun player to watch when the postseason happened.
