Anyone who's actually lost in the wonder of life won't post about it. This is more attention seeking behaviour

The popcorn is good at the Dome, though, and I am going to be at tomorrow's game just to check off some good-father boxes for my kids. I'll be the dude with a frown looking around annoyed when everyone starts yelling too loud...like, mellow the fata out, guys. Best part of the game is sneaking out 15 minutes early to beat traffic.
That's my take, anyway.

I’m confused about how it took so long for this tidbit of information to come up on a rabid hockey forum.

Meh, it's come up before, but if you look at my post history I go into the Fire on Ice (Fire and Ice?) forum zero times per year. Just not a hockey guy.

You should check out the arena thread. I, for one am interested in your take on the private/public funding topic for the new arena.

Yeah I remember you posting this before.
What I don't remember is how you stumbled upon CP.
Actually, I'm not sure I remember how I stumbled upon CP.

My real-life BFF, MisterPants, told me about it (he's a hockey fan). You have my heterosexual life partner to blame for my presence here.

Wicked.
OT, but I have a couple of Heterosexuals Life Partners.
They make the world a better place.

I'm late to the Valentine's Day hate, but wanted to add that i absolutely hate valentines day for the corporate shill of "love" it is.
My partner, for a reason i will never understand (she is usually pretty rationale about this type of crap) does like valentines day as another night out with each other (we go out for dinner at least twice a week anyways so its nothing special).
But i love her, and if she likes it then, well of course I'm going to do it and not complain!
Im with Cecil in that if there is ever a day to not go to a restaurant it is valentines day. For some reason my partner wants to though - as if she loves over priced poorly prepared set menus - but we have worked out a deal. Alternating years we go for dinner or i cook dinner (i do the cooking).
This year was my year (yes!). Some homemade Cacio e Pepe, Tiramisu from Black Sheep, bottle of Caymus, some$11 lilies, movie of her choice, etc.
Nothing wrong with that.

It's like have a drinks at a bar and trying to start or avoid a fist fight a few pitchers in at times.

The annual ranking of prospects is my favourite, when people passionately argue over which prospect is the 40th ranked, even though neither of them will ever amount to anything in the NHL. It's a place where Valimaki gets ranked #1 two years in a row, over players like Dube, Kylington, and Pelletier, but also where Mangiapane is behind Arnold, Morrison, Agostino, and others.
