Which means nothing to us. They will finish top 3 in their division, we are not really battling with them for a spot.

Might as well go with Markstrom.

It’s within 9 of playoffs right? I keep forgetting. That’s only a couple wins. Still in this!

Guess you could add other things. But those two were consistently bad all season.
Really just OT. If they were .500 in OT they’d be top 3 in the division.

It was a bad play by Weegar, but we can’t ignore the fact that Zibanejad walked into the slot and was left all alone while Backlund and Coleman just stared at him.

If he refuses you play him to his abilities. Limited minutes and lots of nights off.

It's clear Sutter and Treliving wanted him to stay over Monahan, and I don't believe for a second they even tried to trade him.
I am pretty sure he actually has a modified NTC now, he has NMC so he can go to the minors but he can be traded.

I think we need to see Huberdeau without Sutter before we give him away in a desperation trade.

There's just no way that a guy that is more than a point per game in the last 5 seasons just forgets how to play.

I don't like using the coach as an excuse but it's not like anyone individually or the team as a whole is doing anything remotely special under Sutter's leadership.

You forgot about Gaudreau and Tkachuk's career season already?

In OT though, when you live or die by maintaining possession and you really only have one teammate who could possibly retrieve the puck, it's just such a bad choice.
Yes, Kadri seems to have never heard of hanging onto the puck and retreating and/or passing it back to get a better situation.
