When a goalie is on everything looks effortless. They are big in their net and crisp and compact in their movement .
Markstrom is the opposite right now. Everything looks hard.
He's deep and small in his net. Late to react on pucks, and his lateral movement is chaotic.

Apparently the bar for a $6mil a year goalie is not to let in unscreened shots from the blue line (which he has done this year), and not to actually make saves and win games.
He is rocking an .890ish save percentage on the season and has won 13 ganes. Until he starts winning some games if he lets in 5 on 32 shots I am going to say he sucks. Because objectively his results suck.
And somehow magically the other goalie is getting it done...and against a harder schedule.
