One thing i see a lot of too is Huberdeau making good passes that either have no finish, the guy peels away with no shot, or just generally arent ready for it with their stick on the ice and it goes to the boards

I don't think his place on the team has anytime to do with his salary. He's built a good relationship with Sutter, and Sutter loves his vets. I think it's that simple.

Yep. Sutter wants more size from him. He's not going to gain that size in days, or weeks. Might as well send him down and let him play so you can keep sending Lucic out there on the top line..

So how to fix? May be sacrifice offense and trade forward for a top pair D and make a good defense team. Good defense will help goalies.

More often than not, he seems to just rocket passes toward players hoping they can find it. It's predictable. He fires them almost as hard as a shot making it really difficult to intercept perfectly. We need more creativity from him as a playmaker. He rarely seems to thread the needle or flip passes.
