As she has so succinctly demonstrated with Alberta's legal system matters, she doesn't make stuff up, lie, or spin doctor anything. She is clear, transparent, and fully ready to show you just how truthy she can be when she wants to be.

It's not that she made up lies about it, it's that her words were imprecise.

I really hope "imprecise" becomes her "I reject the premise of the question".

Pairing Notley and Trudeau together (throw Singh in there too) as some kind of 'alliance' is such an easy cop out for conservatives to push, so they do it as much as possible. In reality, Notley is pro energy / pro oil and gas, and far different from the federal liberals, and even further different than the federal NDP.

Anybody who spends five minutes researching this can find this out. Conservatives just prey on the fact that most people don't do this, and just get all rabid over political colors and that's it.

I agree with you BUT I will admit that I don't like the Sikh having the power that he does in Ottawa. Say and think what you want, just rubs me the wrong way.

You know, I too don't like the fact that NDP holds some power due to the liberals need to cooperate with them to pass legislation, but you undermine your entire argument by calling him "the Sikh".

When you show people who you they are, believe them. I believe I know who/what you are now.

You've identified why it's an easy but also easy to defeat strategy, and Notley is already defeating it. She just has to loudly and publicly differ in opinion from them prior to the election on several key fronts. The emission standards is a big one, and will work to shake off some of those who are flippable. There is of course a core that won't take any sort of evidence that Notley isn't a liberal agent in the provincial government, but I am still hopeful that this is a shrinking few.

I think it goes without saying, that sort of statement is a punt the account into the sun level of offence, right?

NOW...here is what my comment is about, I would NEVER vote for a Quebec politician simply because regardless of what they say there is an ulterior motive that has nothing to do with Canada. It is there and it ain't going away. When guys like Singh get power and start to use words like "my community" or "our community" trust me it has nothing to do with some community in Gander. I do understand that that makes me come across as a bigot which is hard for me as a Canadian...I buy and import product from India monthly and deal with Hindu, Sikh and Muslim all of the time, fact is they roll a certain way and in Canada it has nothing to do with assimilation...exactly the opposite. Bit by bit I believe that they are the racists.

Here I thought there was going to be a punchline, some revelation that this was a reference to some UCP backbencher that once referred to Singh in that way, and...

... nope. Just yikes.

Do you believe that Cultural Anglo Protestants prioritize their community over other entho-religious groups?

Honesty isn’t really of value when it’s just bigotry. Delete that stuff, man. You’re embarrassing the board.
