We are literally on a public facing website! I guess the caveat is in a thread called politics

NDP campaign promise for those on AiSH. It's a start and better than the UCP

He did his own research!

I’m embarrassed that I actually cheered for him and considered him my favourite Flame for a period of time. Thank God for Jarome is all I have to say.

Smith seriously needs to find someone to prep what she wants to say. All she is doing is giving sound bites for the NDP to use against her.

Regardless, the optics of what she did is not good!

A UCP loss and subsequent meltdown will certainly be entertaining. God only knows what would rise from those ashes.

NDP post-Notley is hard to fathom, too. If they do lose, then they absolutely need to merge+rebrand with the Liberals (already dead) and any non-morons from the Alberta Party. There are plenty of potential leaders who would be great public faces (David Shepherd, David Khan, Greg Clark, Iveson, Nenshi, to name a few)...but whether they can align the backrooms is the bigger question.
Greg Clark returning would be lovely. Tried to talk him into running for mayor, but I think he's done with politics.

It's a great idea.

Quote:
“In addition to English and French, there are currently 26 other languages available for students to study in Alberta. Having language options available as part of Alberta’s curriculum is vital to a robust culture and function for our province.”

...

According to 2021 census data, Alberta has the second-highest population of Filipino Canadians in the country, with more than 216,000 living here. Overall, that’s 5.2 per cent of the province’s population.

.

I mean, my son's high school offers language courses in a number of languages, and he took Japanese in Grade 10, for example, but I guess you probably homeschool your kids so you're not really aware of the outside world.
