Found this poll on oilersdaily.com after coming across an article on Facebook about how the referees continue to screw the Oilers. This was a poll on an article on Pissy pulling a tantrum after the Ducks game. So much denial.

Moreover, why are the Oilers in such a rush to extend their goalies, ALWAYS? Have they not learned lessons from Koskinen getting an extension based on being a good battler in practice?

Easily one of the future scapegoats along with Campbell when things still aren't any better and Pissy and McHobo are ready to leave.

I hope Skinner negotiates a higher pay, longer term contract and then just lets his game slide so they have to go back to Campbell as starter.

Skinner and Campbell could be a great 2a 2b goalie tandem.

I think this deal walks him right out the door at the end of 3 years as he hits UFA status.

with that contract the Oilers have 8 million next year in cap space with 16 signed. So if they need to at least sign 4 to 6 on their NHL roster.

Bouchard is coming up, he's probably going to look at between 3 and 4 on a bridge deal as it stands. If they don't trade pool party, they can't really qualify him as he's at 3.1 as that would eat a big chunk of that space. And if they want to bring in a winger that can replace him in the top 6 they're looking at 3 to 4.

I don't think Leon will leave, he seems more of a as long as you pay me a boatload of money I am good kind of guy. The one that makes me laugh is how insistent they are that McDavid will stay. I think the odds of that are about the same of the Coyotes winning the SC this year. Like zero, he is outta there.

Can Skinner include a "Must Trade" option?

it does make me laugh that the Oilers take joy in Johnny and Matt T moving on. If Mchobo or pissy got to UFA, do they really think they would stick around there?

Another interesting tidbit about this poll is that 75% of those who responded "No" believe he wont ask for a trade within 5 years, it will actually be within 2 years.

They'll say Katz is filthy, rich, so he'll just give Pissy $18M per and McWhiner $20M per and they will not go to UFA.

That would be glorious. Burnt out making half the team cap.

I was told because they made the conference finals last year that he'll have no reason to want to leave. It's all up from here.

Then I proceeded to remind him about 2006 and their "run" in 2017.

So far this year no forward has been on the ice for more goals against than Draisaitl with 32 against in 33 games. Per 60 he's 10th averaging 3.68 against per 60.*

*Players that have played at least 300mins.
