Probably for a lot of people basically nothing has changed. Of that % of people who pick UCP what % has actually watched a smith presser or read an article? Probably not many.

Because there's a HUGE swath of Albertans are sheep who will vote conservative regardless. Sean Chu being completely incompetent should have been disqualifying for Calgary voters before his sexual misconduct came to light, and he's been elected three times.
Voters are complete idiots.

It's because Alberta are victims, we work harder than everyone, so they are all out to get us, except the good ol conservatives. The NDP would have had to have been absolutely perfect to even have a chance at re-election, and even then they had no chance. Look at all the people upset about money spent on lightbulbs (a stupid plan by the NDP) and completely ignoring billions wasted on a pipeline that everyone with a brain knew was never getting built because the world hates Alberta. The oil war room cost more per year than the dumb NDP light bulb plan, but that's money well spent, because socialism or something.
