It looks like Switzerland is going to avoid any punishment from FIFA for the player altercations against Serbia. Serbia on the other hand had proceedings opened for several violations.

Serbia being sanctioned for things like that is practically a tournament tradition at this point.
You'd be surprised if they went through a tournament without punishments like this.

So Canada was in a group with 2 quarter finalists and the number 2 ranked team by FIFA rankings.
And probably deserved a better fate than what they got in terms of coming away with points ( Deserved a win against Belgium and draw against Morocco IMO)

He's obviously no angel and will never be a symbol of grace and class, but the assumptions and rushes to judgement over anything the cameras catch him doing is something else.
