He wasn't the problem in Tampa, soft goal or not.
He was certainly part of the solution in Florida.
Maybe he's turning it around.
That would be my bet given last season's regular season, and his play against Dallas in the playoffs.
You're hoping that's the case right? That he's turning it around? Right?

Too early to panic.
This team had it's Offensive Core completely transplanted, and they are still figuring out their identity. Our team defense has been nowhere near as potent as it was last year, and our Defensive core is still figuring things out through injury and absence. Markstrom will benefit most, when the team in front of him get things figured out!

Yeah, that is totally fair. But Markstrom also has a pretty solid track record of excellence stretching back several years. It is entirely reasonable to think he will be fine. It does look like he could be starting to come around, which is great news for everyone here.
