I get genuinely surprised time & time again at how dramatic and self important people still are surrounding masks. Which is ridiculous because if the last three years have taught me anything, it's that people are vastly dramatic and self important.

No one thinks of the HCW who wear masks every day to save the lives of those who don't.

With all that is being passed around our children right now, remind me to pull my kid from your class.

Can we circle back to how ridiculous this comment is?
Is this your first day in society cowboy? Are you really gonna pretend this is the first time you’ve ever heard of paternalistic rules/laws put into place for the greater good?
I mean, I think we can all agree speed limits, income taxes and seatbelts are important, even vital measures required for the greater good of society. Sometimes for personal safety (seatbelts), sometimes for public safety (speed limits) and sometimes for our government and country to function (income taxes).
But you’re gonna sit here and pretend that anything government mandated should just be voluntary? And that if everyone doesn’t do it already, then government intervention is stupid?
Would you pay taxes if it was voluntary? Of course you wouldn’t. Neither would most people. But we all agree income taxes are necessary for our government and social programs to function. Almost as if a huge majority of people would be in favour of income taxes but on the same token, we absolutely need the government to mandate it to keep everyone honest and paying.

So you can stuff it.
I'm glad I don't have kids with teachers like you teaching.

On second thought, I'm not going to engage here. The personal attacks aren't worth it.

Honest question, did you try a premium level washable mask at all, like a Vogmask or similar?
There were periods during 2021 where I was attending conferences requiring mask wearing during floortimes/talks and would have one on for upwards of 6 hours, and having a Vog made it far beyond tolerable.

What about simple measures to demonstrate leadership and responsibility to others during a pandemic to your children?
Masks may not be the most comfortable but so same with a bunch of other PPE that people have to wear in their lines of work too.

Has nothing to do with political leanings, if you cared about their children's well being you mask up, at least right now. Good leaders lead by example.

I think Yoho only accepts counter arguments in tweet form. And only if he already follows those accounts.

Hey just a second here. Are you allowed to just rip into and swear at people on Twitter without getting banned? I'd love that.

It's hilarious how people think we have gone on our whole lives without any rules and regulations from the government.
Actions have consequences.
Luckily the convoy has us freed us from the oppression we have faced.

I don't even know who he is, but it was a Twitter response, as requested. It's kinda like a ransom letter where it doesn't matter where you get the pieces from, it's the message that is important.

If you truly care about the children you would probably want them to be you know in your classroom learning and not in a hospital. But masks....stick it.

An emergency doesn't have to be fatal to be an emergency.
