Not really. He stinks right now. He’s had like what 1-2 good games? Is he the worst number one goalie in the league right now? Now he is a leader in the locker room so that will buy him something but his on ice play is certainly not doing much.

First of all, I called out the entire team for almost giving up another multi goal lead in the 3rd and not just Markstrom.

As for Markstrom, the 2nd and 4th goal should be stopped by one of the highest paid goalies in the league.

A few posters were all over Markstrom in his first year and it aged so poorly last season they can't wait for him to struggle so they can jump online and trash him.

He hasn't been great this season I have called out the goalies multiple times this season but looking at the goals tonight there were some really bad breaks.

Also, he made the big one when it mattered most

Markstrom gave up 2 bad goals. 3 and 5th were lucky bounces

We played well and deserved the win and not have it so close. Markstrom needs to be a lot better.

We had the game in control until the 4 on 4.

These games would be 5-0 wins last year now it's 5-4 because our goalie let's everything in. If kopitar doesn't hesitate to give Markstrom the time to save that's a goal.

Hopefully we get Vladar next game tired of watching the 6 million man be the second best goalie every night.

His expected goals against tonight was a little over 4. He allowed 5.
By that metric, he was below average tonight. But not terrible.

Markstrom makes me nervous on every shot this season so far which is not a good thing for a #1 goalie.

The really good: Lindholm is back!
The sneaky good: Ruzicka! Our hero!
The Red Huby Redemption good: Huberdeau and Backlund look great together!

…Markstrom had an .828 save % tonight, which will sink his season save % below it’s already horrid .895. Nowhere near good enough. Markstrom looking like a Moose out there.

That's right. The W is in the bag if the Flames continue to score 6 goals a game. Just a bit of run support needed.

Welcome to the PGT after a win for the first time in your life lol

Flames were the better team tonight...perfect no but they won the game they deserved to win

Your life must really suck if you are actually a fan who can't enjoy winning a game

2 points is what matters. Still lots of runway to sort out issues, because there are issues.

Huska doing the post-game presser in place of Sutter. Coach must not be too happy.

Because his GAA is 5

It's just a game man

Campbell has a worse save percentage, same with Demko, Gibson and Comrie. Only starters with worse save percentages.

It was one of those nights...both teams got a few fortunate goals

Flames were better though, not really a question

There's nothing wrong with pointing out that a player may have had a bad game, but overall, holy #### I find the pessimism exhausting when even after a win all people want to do is complain and argue

This GAA is not Sutter hockey. This is GG / Bill Peters style stuff happening way too much this year

When Darryl came it was a 3-2 league appears to be a 4-3 league now so we must adjust our way of play knowing our goalie is good for 3 a game.
