As a fan and season ticket holder (half share) I will not wait for this season to play out. Sutter might be great coach somewhere, he just ain't the coach for this team. Anyways....as mentioned I think he has lost the ear of most of the players, again, just my opinion.

What we need is a players coach - A Gulutzan or Ward type if you will... Also, what are you talking about? Sutter is generally pretty vague in regards to specific players, I haven't heard anything specific that crosses the line into 'unprofessional and childish'. Any examples?

Right. But, if all you are interested in doing is whining about line deployment regardless of the tangible results, then no one should listen to you, and you may be better off keeping those season tickets.

I felt that calling out Huberdeau was over the top and then the took a s**t comment made my skin crawl, especially when he was in fact get looked at re: injury. As I mentioned before, for all we know Huberdeau told Sutter where to stick it and how far. You have a team that came out gangbusters, then Buffalo, then all of a sudden forgot how they played the first 5 games? Yeah right.

It was unprofessional and childish for Sutter to say that Lindholm likes playing with Ruzicka. Just awful stuff.

As a fan and a season ticket holder myself, watching the season play out is literally what I payed for.

Sutter was clearly the coach for this team last year - exactly what do you think has changed so drastically? Do you think Huberdeau is not a 'Sutter guy'? The same way that everyone thought Gaudreau wasn't a Sutter guy, until it turned out that he actually WAS a Sutter guy? Or perhaps the same way that people thought Tkachuk WAS a Sutter guy, until it turned out that he actually wasn't? Or maybe the way that Kylington wasn't a Sutter guy, until he suddenly blossomed into one of our best defenseman for a 40-or-so game stretch?

Kudo's to last year...what I am saying is that for whatever reason I feel that Sutter's well know shelf life is expiring in Calgary.

Who is, in your opinion, "the coach for this team"?

Because as frustrated as I sometimes get with some of Sutter's decisions with respect to player usage, I've seen no evidence that so-called player's coaches like Ward and Gulutzan were the answer for this team. The most successful coaches in the Treliving era have been

- Hartley, whose systems are a mess, with allegations against his character
- Peters, who is a person of dubious-at-absolute-best character
- Sutter

When I think of available coaches, the ones that comes to mind are:

- Quennville, who is... a person of dubious-at-absolute-best character
- Babcock, with allegations against his character and less overall playoff success than Sutter
