Well that fell apart quick
Wonder where the accountability sits within the Bruins org for the lack of actual diligence
Neely?

Yeah based on the quote from Sweeny that he wasn't sure if this was the right move, it must have been Neely that pushed for this signing.

Someone has to fall on a sword for this. Complete idiocy by the Bruins.

This is probably it for Miller's NHL dreams. I thought there might still be a chance after the Coyotes renounced him. if he did go put in the work to show that he has changed.

Can't imagine another NHL team will touch him after 2 teams had to cut ties with him so quickly.

I wonder if he gets to keep his singing bonus though.

Not if it was Neely, imo.

Given how Sweeney's body language looked on Friday during his presser, I'd say this was a Cam Neely decision 100%.

No one's getting fired for this.

They are probably still partying after the nhl cleared Ian Cole.

What a disaster. Your team is 10-1 and you pull this bonehead signing. Especially with the Bruins player’s leadership not being ok with it beforehand. Just awful

I’m going to guess the response will be “Something something mob justice something something got your pound of flesh something something all you want is blood something something you ruined his life.”

These guys don’t believe in personal accountability, it’s everyone else who is wrong. The victim, the victim’s family, people close to the situation, people in the hockey world, Special Hockey USA, the Carnegie Initiative, the Bruins’ players, and now the Bruins management… it’s all just the internet mob taking another victim, see. Couldn’t possibly be Miller’s fault. Never is their fault.

What goes into the decision? Is it based on how good of a hockey player you are? If you are already in the NHL do you get a free pass?
Except Kane, Virtanen and Cole haven’t “done” anything. They were accused. They might still be POS’s but it hasn’t been proven in a court of law. Nor has incontrovertible evidence been made public.

Miller unequivocally did and was found guilty.
