If Lindholm doesn't hold out his arm like he's trying to pull Frank Costanza's move, he wouldn't have gotten called. Just skate into the other player's way like Zadorov does and keep both hands on the stick.

Flames are digging out of the funk. . Not sure why some are writing off the team or calling for Sutter to go (Paulie Walnuts) in ten games. Rather they figure this out now than have to try in a series against Edmonton like last year.

They were good in the second and third, started to look tired in the last five minutes after playing with a short bench all game.

Expected goals were 3.37 to 3.37 going into OT, so it was a deserved OT game for both teams until the refs decided to call a horrible penalty to ruin the game

It probably should have been a 2 on 1 the other way, but the reason it wasn’t was the dive, not the “interference” call.

Not one core player, other than Kadri, has been net-positive this season. And they’re somehow still 5-4-1. Inexcusable by the several core players who have sucked as badly as they have.

Still a small sample size but it looks like this could be a very average team and not the Stanley Cup contenders many pegged us to be. Not enough speed up front and really missing that impact player. Not sure what’s up with Huby but he needs to figure things out fast. Good time for a road trip and hopefully they can find their game.

Why would have thought losing stone would suck so much.

New Jersey is good though. Might not be a contender this season, but they look like they'll be dangerous from here on out.
Does Hughes remind anyone else of Gaudreau a little bit?
The way he skates with his head up, gains the zone, handles the puck and edge control is very Johnny like. Shifty and is a play driver for sure.

Why not blame the refs? They ####ed up again. ####ing diving garbage is bull#### and cost a chance at the second point.

They got better as the game went on, but still gave up a lot of grade A chances. Markstrom bailed them out in the third. OT was poor, can’t take penalties in OT. Dumb play by a smart player.

Look at the regular season record of the cup winning King teams.

Im going to reserve that verdict for when huberdeau is himself again , mangiapane can hit the net again , lindholm is even 80% of his former self and tanev and kylington have reps in the line up

but you go ahead and write them off while they're at their worst
