My name has a pretentious pronunciation and an "easy" pronunciation. I use the easy version and my brother uses the pretentious version. I make fun of him all of the time for it. He has yet to call me a racist - but maybe he thinks I'm a racist and just hasn't said anything. I'll have to ask him.
