Default Flames 4 - Penguins 1 : Easy-Peasy

Seeing the 4th line and the 3rd D pairing get a goal makes me so happy that we should do the Dance of Joy!

Yeah, I think this is an easy one to justify. For as long as Vladar keeps winning against Edmonton, he’s in. As soon as he looses one, then Markstrom gets back in. Why screw up a good thing?

Sure. I can see that too, and with not a lot of games this week playing Vladar makes a lot of sense as well. I'm just guessing it will be Markstrom again, that Sutter will play Vladar a bit more again when the schedule gets a little busier.

Nazeem the dream baby! Loved how he played 87 all night, feels like he can shutdown any 1C on any given night.

This team isn't as fancy but they just look better all around, though it's still early.

best first 6 games in franchise history...likely one of the hardest strength of schedules through 6 ever too.

hopefully we don't have as much complaining and pining for AHL callups with these few days off

Flames have played 5 teams that are currently within the top 8 of the league and beat 4 of them. Not a bad start, full team efforts!

Sutter was asked about the centers, and said that Kadri, Lindholm, and Backlund had a good game.
