Fast forward to 2022, and I'm no longer employable.

That's great, they'll be able to get a hell of a tattoo for $10k if they hold out.

They can also keep threatening to get tattoos. Like an early inheritance.

10k could get both sleeves, a neck and even a few face tattoos.

Tattoos are fine, but I echo the sentiment of trying to discourage your kid from getting one at 18. I'm currently getting Picosure Tattoo Removal for mine and it ####ing hurts and it's expensive. I honestly don't know anyone who's still stoked on their 17-18 year old tattoo decisions.

I don't feel too strongly on the subject but I do wonder what it's going to be like when tattooed people are old codgers with saggy arms and wrinkly necks. Like imagine seeing 80 year old Betty (now Bethany) doing aquacise at the pool but she's got tats up her thighs.

I have a friend who documents well worn tattoos, and they are fricken awesome. But then again, I love bad tattoos.

I got one at 21 and let’s just say it’s been covered up.

I got my first tattoo when I was 16 in Mexico. I snuck off into a market and found a guy who had a gun and clean needles / sanitation products. It's nothing special of a tattoo but it's a hell of a story (lots more to it than that) and I'll never laser it or cover it up.

I've got tons of tattoo stories that I've heard and seen.
Me?
Nope. I'm clean. Tattoos are not my bag.

Dyslexic people now think that you have a tattoo in an interesting place.

Do I seriously have to be an ass tomorrow?
I hate this.
"Your mother bought a car battery from us and is complaining that its defective! She doesnt know what she's talking about and the battery is fine!"
Really? Dude...I worked at Canadian Tire for years, but even that is irrelevant.
When a battery that is less than 6 months old is bulging out and not starting the car...thats a problem.
Let me tell you something about my mother. She knows absolutely nothing about cars. Probably even less about car batteries. This is not her specialty. She doesnt know a goddamned thing.
But car batteries tend to last longer than 6 months. Whether she knows anything about it or not...who are you kidding here?
I mean...what do you want here? She purchased a product from you. The battery. Furthermore she paid for you to install it. She also paid for a service.
It is absolutely insane then to turn around and say that somehow she has made it defective seeing as she has never touched the goddamned thing in her entire life.
Yes. She is an elderly woman. So what? She didnt put the battery in her own car. She has literally done zero things to effect how the battery works.
You want to get nuts? Fine. Lets get nuts. Dust the goddamned thing for fingerprints. You're not going to find her fingerprints. I promise.
So...once again, I reiterate. If the battery isnt working...it is not her fault.

I often ponder if the people who ask me for directions made it to their destination or not.
I need closure.

Good luck dude.
Before you go in, try to find the photos of management - usually found near the front entrance, so you know who to ask for if you need to escalate.

And to each their own, my tattoos don't make my stories any better than yours (they are ). I'll say this though, the boomer and older generations do make substantially more negative comments towards people with visible tattoos than any other age demographic.
