This stuff is pretty good. I used to get the Costco stuff, but it was so heavy and wasn't all that great. This stuff just doesn't clump that well.

We tried a few of those so called dust free ones in the big ~15kg boxes from Walmart. Talk about a messy disaster. I was trying to get away from the expensive gel absorption ones but may have to go back as the dusty mess isn’t worth it for us or the cat.

We’ve been using this stuff for about 16 years. We’ve tried some other litters, unsuccessfully. The cat doesn’t track it around, but it flies out of the litter box when the cat tries to bury it. I don’t think think the clumping is great though, I would like it if it clumped more solidly because sometime it breaks up a bit when scooping. Found it particularly dusty just when transferring it from the box to a bucket so it’s less unwieldy.

We tried the Tidy Cat mentioned above. I think it works better, but that seems to be the biggest container I have found, so it’s expensive and more trips to the store.

I usually get Amazon to drop this larger one at my door, so no trips to the store. Bonus is the big bin is useful for garden stuff after. It's definitely more expensive than the Costco stuff. But way less dusty.

We use wood pellets for cat litter.
They disintegrate for the urine, and don't track around the house. The bags are also very cheap, and we just throw it into the compost when we need to change the litter.

The $70 mil lotto max went to a calgary ticket instead of Ontario or Quebec for once. Check those tickets!

We got my mom one ~20 years ago. It came from Edelweiss. She has (had?) a nearly century old and much, much nicer one that was simply too costly to have restored and fixed. I think it's still kicking around.

You can actually disable or bypass the "####oo" sound with a switch on the back. I can't handle having an annoying ass disrupting noise going off regularly, and never could.

The new one has never needed service or repair, just blow it with compressed air and give it a wipe with a damp cloth every now and then. I *may* have oiled it once upon a time, but I'm not sure.

The word nog is off-putting to me.

Add egg in front of it and it just sounds nasty.

Completely and utterly worth it.

On the list of things I've drank during athletic endeavors it doesn't rank the highest.

I played in a rugby game once and ouzo was in all the "water" bottles.

I don't let my kids adjust to the fall time change. I just hope it helps me to get them to bed a little sooner. and let them feel like they got to sleep in a bit.

What you got against nog? Some straight up Ferengi discrimination right there.

Gotta hand it to millennials. They're holding strong on that style where they shave like one side of their head, and then do a side part with the longer hair on top. Bonus points for a manicured beard or a non-ironic (or is it ironic?) moustache. I thought that was going to be a here-today-gone-tomorrow style, but it looks like that's where they've landed for life.

No judgement in any of that. My crew wears slightly baggy jeans, t-shirts, hoodies and ballcaps, primarily. Basically the exact same outfits we'd go to shows in at the Black Lung 25 years ago.

Terrible tattoos everywhere is a trend as well that does not seem to want to die.

I don't and can't do one, but a good looking moustache is a timeless look IMO. Some guys look 10x better with one.

Yeah, I'm really hoping it's cooler to not have tattoos when my kids hit 18. I've yet to see one I actually like.

I have offered them each $10k at 25 if they stay tattoo free.

Oh absolutely.

and on the tattoos, man, I'm torn. I llike tattoos, but I don't have a single one because I refuse to do it just for the sake of doing it. Some of the people you see out there, just wow.

Do they give you a neck tattoo when you get your pit bull, or do you get a pit bull when you get your neck tattoo? Never been sure how that works.
