i think some of us have ptsd from the edm series and our confidence in marky is low so we are over analyzing him, and being hard on him.
That period wasn't his fault, toff not burying the goal to tie it and they go the other way and score, sabres chances went in and ours aren't and that's the difference imo

Not great team defense by Calgary either but make a damn save Marky, that’s what you are paid to do. Buffalo’s goalie made a number of big saves, our goalie made 1.

Not the only difference but the biggest one. If he wants the team to play better in front of him he needs to give them some confidence that he can bail them out sometimes.

It's weird and I am in no way criticizing Markstom but pucks are bouncing off him right now. He's not the vacuum he was last year, yet.

1st goal - All Marky...shoulda stayed still, didnt and gifted Cozens a goal.
2nd goal - Flames continue to let a D man trail and get a shot off, he could have and should have saved it but meh.
3rd goal - Subpar forward on a breakaway roofs it over his shoulder which was wide open, great shot but he was pretty deep in his net.

Goalies stop breakaways all the time. It’s a crapy period and markstrom has been a part of it. We’ll see how they respond
