If Lindholms crossbar goes in and maybe one of the multiple amazing PP setups from Huberdeau and we are saying what an amazing game he had a both ends
its a fine line...Lindholm making it 5-1 right after Skinner went in would have been lights out IMO
ah well, save some goals for next game

couldn't decide if skinner was actually standing on his head or just extremely fortunate to not see a couple go by him

I have zero concern about the first line, they're not playing poorly. I see many multiple goal games from them before too long. For now, the second line is carrying the mail and that's fine.

They also played almost half their time against McDavid and pretty much exclusively against Nurse. The Oilers matched up their big guns against the Flames and the Flames line walked away even with McDavid getting on the board on the PP. That's really all that should be the gameplan against the Oilers; try to stay even against the top line, don't get into a special teams contest, and let your depth win for you because the Oilers don't have it.
Getting into tit-for-tat offensive explosions against the Oilers is the way they win.

I remember thinking after the Flames/Florida trade that I was pretty happy to see how the team would look this season.
Then there were the Kadri rumors, which I thought were nice but wouldn't happen.
The signing happened, the center depth is now one of the best in the league, and Kadri is.............awesome. It's early, I get that, but it could be a homerun signing.

Oooooh Mufffiiinn!! Don’t be that way! Some day soon you’ll be in that box for John Mulaney and you too can enjoy both! Don’t give up!

Yes, they changed it when they moved into Rogers Place, a couple years after that video was shot.

starting the season with two wins is great as it is, but it's that much sweeter knowing it was against Colorado and Edmonton. Really positive signs early on, and you know they can even be a lot better. Really exciting group.
also, Edmonton is no good.

I was admittedly in that camp at first because of the aging curve concern. But I’m glad to be eating crow so far

yeah I remember that. Pre-McDinkleberg when they really were the butt of every joke ... tearing into their own team, which was obviously terrible but loaded with ridiculous offseason expectations from the fanbase (as always), was so Edmonton.
