May not make sense but it does to me.

Flames fans have not been spoiled in this regard. Tenacity on the puck has not been the watchword for the core forwards save maybe Backlund. I think we're in for a bit of an eye-opener this season with both Kadri and Huberdeau as regards on-ice intensity and consistency, which has frankly been missing for a long while.

Kadri feels dangerous out there. If we were playing him we wouldn’t want him to get the puck.

The team feels different. We may not score as much but when you fill a team with competitive winners you see that work ethic.

Last year's team couldn't buy a goal vs the Avs either.
These guys will score plenty this year.

Same thing with Hubey goes for Kadri, they both just know where to be, what they have to do to get the ouck moving the right way. Might take a bit for the other guys to catch onto their rhythm but it's going to be nuts when everyone syncs up.

Even if that's right, I don't disagree with you. Great period.

They were. And even better in the OT loss to Anahiem. Then we went on a run I think.

Did Tkachuk just say “talking to Calgary, talking to other teams during the RFA period”? Unless he had permission, that’s quite a slip.

An RFA can sign an offer sheet with any team. He was allowed to talk to other teams.

I can't remember the last time we had a forward group that didn't have one floater.
Every player in the lineup tonight plays both ends of the ice.
Also if they keep this up, the game is going to end well.
