Here's Danielle's new team. Some super partisan names on this list, no surprises here. Craig Chandler in shambles but probably will get a nice job in due time.

Also notice how a Solberg wrote that pre-election opinion piece? Now a Solberg is on her immediate team. That family can't stop suckling the Alberta conservative teet.

Matt = Aramis
Monte = Porthos
Michael = Athos

Even though Michael is their dad, it's ALL for ONE, and ONE for ALL(berta)!

I’d say the difference between the 2 was the intent. No argument that the end results for both were bad.

How much did the UCP spend to cancel "Oil by rail" with no other plan in place based on ideology?

Diff is back up to 24USD so those contracts should be making money right now for who ever bought them when diff was 12.

Rob Anderson is equally bad in a different way; he was one of the first floor-crossers to the Wildrose, and is (arguably) the biggest voice in the Sovereignty loony bin.

Nope. I'm thinking of 'the free alberta strategy' nutjob.

Rob Anders would have been comical.

The #####show is already beginning. Leaving Calgary-Elbow unrepresented while parachuting into Brooks/MH is a clear snub at political precedent because she knows she'll lose in Calgary.

Albertans first indeed, as long as you don't live in a major urban area.

So you dislike them all equally? None are worse than others? If not to you, maybe to some people you know and care about in this province?

People who support her think she represents their voice that is being drowned out. One example would be people against crushing vaccine mandates. They don't want to be forced vaccines and feel no one stands up for them. There are conservatives who didn't think Kenney did enough. Climate change would be another. People in O&G feel like no matter how clean they make the process of extracting oil, they are vilified unfairly.

This is her quote ""We will not be told what we must put in our bodies in order that we may work or travel. We will not have our resources landlocked or our energy phased out of existence by virtue-signalling prime ministers."

I’m with CC on this and I find it amusing when the partisans roll out the “please like my team” tactic.

That’s a cowardly way out.

There are two visions for Alberta that are significantly different. You need to pick one regardless about how you feel about the quality of leader. This particular election in Alberta feels more important as it’s a choice between what I would call the historical status quo and a more individualistic libertarian approach. You should get to the point where you can choose.

The unintellectual and entirely lazy “oh gosh I just can’t vote for anyone!” stuff is pretty funny, too.

Though it mostly seems to be conservatives who end up voting conservative anyway and just like playing pretend centrist to wash their hands of the bad stuff.

Beat me to it. My f--king sides, reading about 'partisans' and 'my team', the irony is delicious. Give me a break.
