the media wing of this HOF is going to be unbearable

in all seriousness for a moment I could see Joey Moss as one of the first 2 inductees. he and Ryan Smyth maybe. point being any rational franchise would run out of names quickly. they are already at 10

I like how Holland's amazing summer was giving guys that nobody else would term and getting out of two bad contracts he is responsible for because of fake injuries and retirement

So shrewd

Everything they ever do is McDrai whom he has nothing to do with

I was just suggesting that they better name Joey Moss on September 20th.... if not, then they lose credibility because of how they use his name and legacy throughout the year(s). I hope Edmonton was sincere in it's admiration of Joey... I think Wayne Gretzky was/is... I'm not doubting they were/are... but if they don't name him on September 20th... then I might.

They have to name Joey Moss.... it's the purpose of the Hall of Fame, to celebrate people that they couldn't before in other ways.

Not to defend Edmonton... but they go to one extreme when celebrating their past and even future events... too far.... but Calgary goes too far in the other direction.... we don't celebrate anything here... we tear down our culture here, we tear down everything old - just look at our historical buildings... we don't have many left from the wrecking ball.

Ohhh... we even went as far as to not retiring jersey's here once, and before Jarome Iginla's jersey was retired.. I was worried that we wouldn't retire his .. I'm so glad we went back on that and did. But Theo's jersey needs to be retired - it's shameful that it isn't already.

In Edmonton .... they raise a banner for everything... In Calgary... we rarely do so.... there has to be a happy point in the middle we can get to.

I agree with you but I also don't think jersey's should be retired at all.. Hang the jersey in the rafters sure, but players should still be able to wear them.

I have no issue with not hanging Fleury's number in the rafters. I'd rather just forget he was one of my favourite players as a kid. The less attention he gets the better.

I'm all for ragging on Kane, and he is a worthy inductee indeed, but Craig MacTavish literally killed another human being. That doesn't get talked about enough, and the fact he's stayed in hockey as long as he has is nothing short of mind boggling.

He's inductee #1 in my mind.

They’d need to use West Ed to house all the inductees to an Edmonton Hall of Shame.

Leave it to them to do the exact opposite of the right thing.

I would have thought Joey Moss and Ben Stetler would have been inducted day one too. Trust the Grease to eff it up royally.

They put deadbeat Glenn Anderson into their stupid OHOF.

Ah crap, I think I like JP.

He's just being the poster boy for the circus that he's been imprisoned into.

I would do the same if I couldn't get traded out of there until I was a UFA. Just act like a total buffoon and give no ####s.
