Efficient match from Felix on the back of strong serving so far. Good way to open your major.
To finish this off quickly, I would say he needs to find more ways to finish points on his a racquet as he really isn't dominating the winner column at all against a qualifier, which is somewhat worrying, but also early in the tournament.

Sloppy double faulty game from FAA and Ritschard breaks for a 3-1 lead in set 3.

Another former champion is out as Thiem losses first round to PCB. He really gave everything he had to win his one US Open, it's just a shame there was no crowd to witness it.

If someone was hypothetically in New York and trying to figure out what session they should buy in order to see Bianca, Leylah or Felix, how woukd they go about figuring that out? When do they set the match tines and locations?

Also, bravo Rebecca Marino with a nice 6-2 6-3 over Magdalena Fręch of Poland. Not only rankings points, but now a guaranteed six figure payday for Rebecca.
Edit: Rebecca was slated to face Simona Halep in round 2, but she now takes on the youngster Daria Snigur instead after the big upset earlier today.

Kinda funny that two Patrick Mouratoglou disciples (Simona Halep and Greek Yogurt) suffered bad losses today. That guy is all sizzle and very little steak.

The schedule for Wednesday will come out tomorrow afternoon I believe, Google or the US Open website are what I check. I don't think any of them will be on Arthur Ashe or Louis Armstrong so a grounds pass should do the trick. But if anyone else who has actually been to a US Open and this information is incorrect please correct it.
Also Leylah was playing on Armstrong so she might be playing there again

Certainly appears the Yogurt's career has curdled. Another #LostGen career down the drain. This generation is unquestionably worse than the early 2000s, and at this point it appears by a lot. If not for Alcaraz, who is still young and might not be the guy either, things would be incredibly bleak for the future of the men's game. Hard to believe the big three era is going to bleed into one of the worst eras of the sport, certainly didn't see that coming.

If Felix and Denis can find just a little bit of consistency, you would have to like their chances to win Slams.

Louis Armstrong stadium night session starts with Felix vs Draper and then Bianca vs Haddad Maia so if you're looking for Canadian content that's going to be where you want to be.
