Stop trying to make the pedestal a thing.
Scorp, Ryan Pike, MacFarlane etc, if you are reading this tell your contacts at the Flames not to make the pedestal a thing.

Their last three? Their current home and aways were designed decades ago. They nailed the decision to bring them back, yes.

Current home and away plus a version of the 2004 jerseys as alternate would be just right, and such an easy win.
Teams don't hang the numbers of their worst players in the rafters. They should not honor the jerseys from their worst periods in team history by bringing them back.

Lol that is sinfully ugly. And not in the cool Blasty way.
Huge pass. But I am definitely buying one of the new Blastys if they are close to the leaked version with the flames on the sleeves.

I think that black pedestal version would look better if it just removed the red shoulder/sleeve stripe/yoke, and just went with the bottom stripes, the pedestal, and standard sleeve stripes.

Sorry for the two posts in a row, but this would be acceptable, exactly what I'm referring to in removing the red shoulders. Or, even just a black version of the retros would be great if they insist on black.

This one's hilarious. Do you want to look like a small man with skinny arms? The outside of this jersey is stealth, so you can look like you've lost some weight! Note: heads may appear to be floating.
(Yes I realize ice is white. A white outside would be even funnier. This one only has the effect for wearers on a dark street at night.)

The original was a white outside...

As a one off RR type of thing, I'd love to see a pedestal. Maybe it's just because I'm a child of a 90's, but it definitely has a 'so bad it's good' vibe
but not as an actual 3rd. No way

Which ones are those? The two current ones are just updated of the classics, it's not like they're new designs or anything.

I just think it's childhood nostalgia talking. The people who were kids at that time are in their 20s now and consumers, they see these hideous 90s jersey designs and it takes them back to their childhood. Most people I see in my Twitter TL going crazy over the new designs clearly look in their 20s to me in their profile pic.
Meanwhile, us who were already teens or adults when those released just see them for what they really are: fugly.

Nothing can ever be as bad as those faux cowboy wordmark abortions. Ever. Those are the worst jerseys in the history of sport. I’m retching thinking about them right now.
Give us pedestal or give us death. Preferably pedestal.

Absolutely! I’d love to have one hanging in my closet. Now which current Flames player best suits the young era to have on the back of it?
