Fanatics website has released some special edition wheelhouse merch. Looks alot like reverse retro. Based on this, we'd most likely see a black pedestal with that 90s version of the white flaming C.

Maybe this one with the red and black flipped? Maybe with the 90s white C too

Stars: Secondary Texas Logo, Black Jersey
Ducks: Disney Logo with Orange (white version of third?)
Jets: 90’s logo with modern colors
Vegas: Black jersey
Devils: White jersey with blue accents (Kansas City throwback)
Rangers: Lady Liberty with royal blue
Tampa: White version of their sublimated storm jersey
Caps: Black version of the screaming eagle
Sharks: California Golden Seals Throwback
Avs: Colorado Rockies Throwback using alternate logo
Sabres: White Jersey with Goat logo using updated colors

The pedestal was never a good concept in the first place, I don't think anyone can salvage it.
If that is the jersey I'm very meh on it. It's actually better than I thought it'd be honestly, I've seen worse (I hate home unis from 2007-2020 and the script alternate from 2013-2016). Maybe these will look better on TV.
As a Reverse Retro we will barely see it anyways

Definitely wouldve like the red one more... I mean, the more options for the SEA OF RED the better in my opinion. Also would love one black jersey with a red C but thats clearly not happening.
Still better than a lot of other leaks so far....and as I've said many times on here now that we have the 80s retro as full time I'm good with experimental 3rds once a year. Getting the red '04s as our regular Retro would be the cherry on top

Completely agree.
The mid-90s through to 2001 was just an awful time in franchise history. The worst teams, losing stars, talk of the team leaving, the 'young guns', and terrible uniform designs. The only thing worth celebrating from that era is the fact that the team eventually got out of it. Both the pedestals and the horse head were products of those terrible times and should be left behind with everything else the team eventually overcame.
An updated version of the 04 jerseys would be so much better.

This is my hope. Maybe a 2004 black jersey but rather than blasty its a white C? And no red maybe?

The Flames are just bad at jerseys. The blasty jersey Flames on the sleeve is pretty awful.. This reverse pedestal is beyond hideous.
Still, they are both better than that 3rd jersey from a couple years ago with the text.
